BUSH HOUSE.The Strand roof tops. (1961) Sketched from the Continuities.

Sketched on one of the running orders. I guess Red Con. judging by the colour band along the bottom. I see Closedown was at 2029.40.
This is a tatty faint drawing so hard to make out but across the Thames is, I guess, County Hall. Would that be the tall Shell building to the very left? There are possibly three bridges. There's a new very tall building being constructed with cranes on the top this side of the river. Then we come to Westminster and Big Ben. On late night shifts I used to look across at the light in the top of Big Ben which always glowed when Parliament was sitting. In the very foreground looking into The Strand I think is Somerset House

Another set of roof tops (Different angle - different Continuity!) I suspect this is looking down into the courtyard of Somerset House with the pillars in background. .
