NEW YORK STREET SCENE- UV graphic experiment

April 1st (cont)
In order to work out where I should put my fluorescent paint and what colour I should use, I took a photo of the completed cloth (before the fluorescent was applied) then scanned it into my computer and, using a graphics program, made the picture a dark blue. I then put a separate layer on the top and drew in my coloured fluorescents. Once satisfied, I took a copy of this graphic with me and worked from that when painting on the fluorescent paint. NOTE for the lighting designer - perhaps the most interesting wow factor of this cloth is the 'invisible blue' windows on the skyscrapers which should "miraculously" appear under UV light.
