A problem which faces many amateur
companies working on a small stage, is how to change the scenery behind
a front cloth or tab without pulling the "Front Curtain" (Pulling a front
curtain usually means the end of the show or denotes the interval).
Buncranca solved this by making a Tab Curtain. |

Terry writes ....A couple of girls, Lesley Ann McGrory (who teaches art in Londonderry Tech.) and Genevieve McGuiness, designed and painted this Curtain for use when scenery was being changed - they made it by the Batik method with wax and dye and they also added glitter which gave a great "showbiz glitz" effect. | |
