THE CASTLE CORRIDOR | |
Above is my acrylic painting for the backcloth. It is painted on an A3 piece of smooth MDF. (420 x 297 mm.) Once the Director was happy with this image I then sent it off to Rutters in Cambridgeshire to be enlarged to 20 feet wide by ten feet high (The acrylic painting was scaled to this ratio). Below is a photo of the resultant cloth in the process of being hung on a straining wire in the theatre. So there's still lots of creases and hooks in view. Noleen and myself for scale. Noleen is the main puppeteer for the Mr Hullabaloo Company. |
