This was a particularly interesting job as the BBC had set up a live web cam which "watched" me work for the three days it took to paint this cloth. We called the event "Watching Paint Dry".
I wrote some notes to accompany this Internet project which includes the original pencil sketch, the squared up drawing; my reasoning behind why I painted what I did, and some details about the various techniques I used.
