SCENERY PAINTING FOR THE AMATEUR MUSICAL THEATRE and PANTOMIME
LILAC TIME
Designed and painted by Brian Willis.
Sets constructed by Colin Hompstead
Performed by the Ulster Operatic Company in the (now defunct) Harberton Theatre Belfast (1972)
Opening Scene. The forecourt of a lodging house.
Made out of flats with a practical set of louvred windows. There was a free standing lilac tree . I think the two lamps were practical, and the balcony was "stood" on (probably a piece of rostrum behind the balustrade)
