London Bridge back groundrow . This pencil sketch is squared up with 1cm squares which I then transferred to One foot squares on the actual groundrow. This was made from three sheets of 8 ft long boards with the overlaps taking place at the pillar edges. I tried to include lots of London landmarks :- Tower Bridge, Big Ben, St. Paul's, Tower of London, and of course many spires and towers representing the churches Christopher Wren built after the Great Fire of London. (End of history lesson) Probably no-one in the audience was aware of these landmarks but I was happy to have included them. You can see the top of this groundrow in use in Fagins kitchen |
