SCENERY PAINTING FOR THE AMATEUR MUSICAL THEATRE and PANTOMIME
SOUND OF MUSIC - Page three
Designer - Donald O'Brien. Scenic Artist - Brian Willis. Sets constructed by Leonard Quigg
Performed by - Ballycastle Choral Society (2001)
Interior showing painted cloth with pillars, ceiling and tapestry (and the "rod" it's hanging from) all painted on the flat cloth. Vanishing point for this was 9 inches off stage floor. Note same French windows as the Lake scene awaiting to be dressed with curtains.

Same scene taken during dress rehearsal. Included here to show the door on the left.

French Windows on the right have now gained their proper set of curtains and pelmet.

This scene really needed borders
