SCENERY PAINTING
FOR THE AMATEUR MUSICAL THEATRE and PANTOMIME |
TITANIC - page three |
|
In his "spare time", Sean Magee, who was the stage manager and main set builder for the Show, constructed a beautiful scale model of the Titanic to sit in the foyer of the theatre during the run. |
|
Photo shows Sean Magee (left) presenting
his model of the Titanic to Michael McLaughlan. |
|
Michael has been a great asset to the construction
crew and backstage team. This has been Michael's first venture into Amateur
Theatre and he volunteered to help build the scenery and then work back
stage during the show. Sean's gift was to Michael as a memento of his
successful time spent with "Titanic". |
|
FOOTNOTE. Although Sean is described here as the main set builder, he is keen to point out that he was ably assisted by an enthusiastic team of other stalwarts. | |
SORRY
I DIDN'T SEE THE ICEBURG CAP'N - SOME EEJIT PULLED A GAUZE ACROSS AT THE
WRONG MOMENT SO I MISSED IT. |
|
This
is an "in" joke for the back-stage crew. |
