THE BOARDROOM

On the other side of the corridor from the Ulster Hospital Radio studio was a small Boardroom. We had permission to use this for recordings and broadcasts. So we slung cables across in the ceiling and installed mic and speaker sockets. This room we then used when there were too many contributors for our small studio or to record small choirs and even at one time as a rest room for the four bodyguards who came with Lord Melchett who was our guest presenter Christmas '76.
