Close up of "Percy"
"His" headphones were the inner tubes from a mini car. The mechanics were designed by civil engineer and hospital radio volunteer Colin K. The head, made by Brian, swiveled and the right arm raised up and down in a wave, all worked by someone sitting inside pulling leavers. Percy's right hand was carved from a large block of polystyrene by the art student amongst us Dawn B. Tractor and trailer supplied by Hospital Radio member Jane M. who also drove the tractor for us.
