SCENERY PAINTING FOR THE AMATEUR MUSICAL THEATRE and PANTOMIME
|ALADDIN Ulster page three
|Designed and painted by Brian Willis. Sets
built by Colin Hompstead.
Performed by the Ulster Operatic Company (1972)
The Finale Walk Down A very simple (and quick to erect) set of wings and a couple of flats and an arch at the back. I diminished the sizes of the shapes on the wings the further up stage they went to force the perspective. This worked as the cast only came through the centre arch.
I wonder what that strange black shape is at the bottom of the back arch? Might be a cable.
