SCENERY PAINTING FOR THE AMATEUR MUSICAL THEATRE and PANTOMIME
CALAMITY JANE - (Garvagh) Page two
Performed by the pupils of Garvagh High School in December 2007
Designed and painted by Brian Willis.
Construction by Brian Willis, John Stewart and John Lamont.

DRESSING ROOM

The base of the dressing table was hinged so it folded flat to save space when being stored.

Mirrors are always a problem on stage as they reflect the light (often into the audience). Here I have used aluminium cooking foil - turkey size! - scrumpled up then stuck to the plywood with construction glue. The many facets of the scrumpled up foil scattered the lights.

The lights for this dressing table were installed by Barbara Purcell.

Aren't digital cameras forgiving under harsh conditions?
