My clients, the Hullabaloo Children's Interactive Theatre, travel to various Primary Schools, Libraries etc. putting on shows depicting various well known fairy stories. (See their web site for more details). However they have recently got some bookings for larger venues so asked me to make suitable scenery for these theatres. The main problem was they only had a small van but wanted a 20' x 10' back cloth. So I painted a small acrylic original then sent it off to Rutters (who specialize in printing huge enlargements) so that the resultant 20 ft by ten ft cloth could be packed up in a bag and easily transported. .

Here's my proposed backcloth

The brief was a general fairy tale backcloth with lots of colour and big flowers.
