FLIP CHART - an "artistic" idea
Some thoughts for an "artistic" canvas for the 10ft.x 7ft. Flip Chart
A Scale (1cm:1ft.) Pencil sketch to establish the values and positions of the various elements. The Horizon line/Eye line is three feet off the floor

And the same drawing with the outlines emphasised, areas coloured in and a one cm. grid overlaid. This is in preparation for transferring the the canvas.

The choice of colours is not significant. They are only there to help me differentiate blocks to transfer.

I have put two circles to show the two most important Vanishing Points.

And here is the final canvas. I made several changes once I started the actual painting (this regulalrly happens) Play spot-the-difference. For instance, I dropped the tree trunk and added an extra house on the left.

This "Flip Chart" would look best if there is a little practical (real) picket fence in front of it.

On to thoughts for some Free Standing scenery >>
