Hanging my cloth

And here the cloth has arrived at the theatre and is being hung. Note I have now cut the cloth in half as it will hang on the two front tabs which part in the middle. Although the Riverside Theatre has an "Arena" type layout (i.e. no Proscenium arch), unusually, this show did have a front curtain which was closed during the time the audience was taking their seats. My cloth was hung on this front curtain.

Photo shows the Designer, Kerry Dunn, on the stage floor, assisting Philip Bradshaw, the Riverside's Stage Technician, who is at the top of the steps hanging the cloth. (Sorry we can't see your face Philip - blame the photographer!)
