The top construction drawing of the Bar on the right is incorrect and is a mirror image of what is proposed. And below is the completed Bar. I opted for only two barrels in the end as three would have been too wide. The backcloth is not finished in this photo. |

And below is the completed 17 ft. by 11 ft. cloth. I dropped the Figurehead as the cloth was getting too "busy". However I added a candle as an excuse to make that corner more colourful . Even though I knew the practical Bar will cover the bottom right hand corner, nevertheless I still painted in some detail as I have often been caught by the Producer of a show changing their mind about the position of a piece. Ooops, forgot to put some cracks in the plaster walls. |
