14 March Interviewed May McQ (very lively hospital cleaner). The last half hour of this regular Sunday programme was devoted to religious music and presented by William W. This format continued for until June when "Religion" had it's own programme slot (8th June). (Photo of William W. and Rev McR.)

11 April Two people from the Royal watched the broadcast. They had come to see how they could set up a Hospital Radio at the RVH.

18 April Recorded Methodist Church Service in morning. Broadcast it to the patients in the evening.

Old Peoples' Show. This was a live stage show put on by local Dundonald folk for the geriatric patients. (wheeled in in wheel chairs and beds!)

Live OB of the Hospital Carol Service from the Nurses Recreation Hall (six volunteers needed to rig and control

24 Dec Christmas eve special programme OB from the Children's Ward. Guests included a choir and guitars. Through the "magic" of radio the children were able to converse with Santa as he flew towards the hospital. CLICK to hear a two minute extract.
